It is painted as if UKIP are competing with the other two ‘out’ campaigns ‘The Know’ and ‘Business for Britain’ but there is no competition, it is three campaigns working to the same end – and probably each appealing to different voters, which is a good thing. Of course if UKIP had joined one of those campaigns the head lines would be all about the other campaign being attacked/slighted – so directly backing neither was absolutely the right thing to do.
